KEY WORD: FOCUS

We are called to change lives, not change the channels. Moses, David, the prophets, Jesus, Paul, Peter and James had little patience with those that would not go beyond their comfort zones to make a Kingdom-difference. The writer to the Hebrews (13:13-14) challenges, "Let's go with Him outside the gate, ... for here we have no lasting city, but we look forward to the city that is to come."

We are not our own, but bought with a price. We each have to consider, just what did Jesus buy when he bought me?

A. BE SKILLED

Exercise: Use your gifts and skills in the area to which you are called.

B. BE GROWING

Education & Research: Enhance your knowledge and ability through study.

C. BE MENTORED

Mentoring: Develop relationships with one or more people who are experts in the geographic area or industry to which you are called.

D. BE OUT THERE

Relate: find out who is doing what in the area to which you are called.
